dyslexic nam
Great game. Given our concerns about CB, his emergence could be just as important over the next few years as some of the more high-profile guys. CanadaFan123
He was fantastic. Unbelievably composed in possession. I think his first touch was a missile off the chest and he handled it with ease. So so good and you could tell his teammates trusted him completely. toontownman, Dominic94, Obinna and 4 others

toontownman
What a story and a journey for this young man. So happy to have had some small part of this journey shared via @Ian Kennedy and the great contributors on this forum with updates and following from afar. On today's evidence that journey has only just started. Great debut under immense pressure. Congrats Scott! TGAA_Star
Our CB depth now just gets better and better really. With Scott yesterday, he definitely proved himself as far as being a starter at the CB position in the Haiti 2 leg playoff. But definitely would pair him with Vitoria. Those 2 together in our back 4 makes our back 4 solid.
Obinna
Flawless debut. He fits the team like a glove. What I like is that his timing of when to pass the ball is excellent. His decision making was of a very high level and honestly, he came as advertised if you watched his performances in the DFB Pokal. The best part is that he comes from Calgary. Way to make the city and the country proud Scott! lamptern, toontownman, sebdeserio and 5 others
Hawkguy
If he continues performances like that, he'll be the best CB I've seen on Canada in a long, long time. Obinna, TGAA_Star, Ian Kennedy and 2 others

Shortdutchcanuck
I knew about Scott's speed and ability to get stuck in. I had no idea he was that good a passer out of the back. He even had the confidence to drive forward with the ball a few times when space presented itself. An Observer
I really thought he was great: quick, good passer and kept his head. All that being said, I will reserve judgment on him until the octagon as I need to see him (and Johnstone) under sustained pressure and facing better attackers. But what I have seen so far, I liked toontownman, Ruffian, lowlander and 2 others

toontownman
All signs point to Scott being the real deal. Man is his comfortable on the ball. LeoH037
I hope he finds himself playing division 1 club football soon (either in Germany or any other good European league), he definitely has the level for it, and it would just be such a good story for him given his career progression Edited June 13, 2021 by LeoH037 Dominic94, sebdeserio, cronaldo7 and 1 other

Big_M
No surprise..b2 starter and held up against b1 teams in cup..the pleasant surprise is really herdman making the right decision to go with him in these big games without prior national team experience..theres plenty of coaches who wouldnt have done that cronaldo7, apbsmith, johnyb and 5 others
frmr
I'm not very good at assessing defenders. Did Kennedy just become our #1 CB from his first call up? cronaldo7 and Weng
Atlantic
People talk a lot about these games being big games for the guys in rumours like Larin and Buchanan, what about Kennedy's stock? He played very well against Suriname which had a team full of Eredivisie players and a Bundesliga player. Then Haiti away where there are Ligue 2 players and a forward who just played in the Belgian first tier. Obviously there has to be interest from teams around Europe which we've yet to hear of but he's adding some nice things to his resume. Some small sample size but so far impressive. Imagine when he gets even more games under his belt next season and gains more valuable experience!
