RickC Posted December 14, 2021 Share Posted December 14, 2021 He was one of the players I was most interested to see playing when we visited Rome in 2001. It wasn't only Mendieta that was a flop that night, both teams, Lazio and Parma, came up with the most boring match I've been to. Nil - nil final, not that you can't have a good scoreless match. It was my wife's first time attending a soccer match but thankfully there have been many more since then. I went suit shopping while in Rome and the employees in the shop mentioned how unimpressed they were with him.
