I know that doesn’t cap tie him, but I think we have reached a point where we won’t need to try and find ways to lock down talented guys. We will increasingly see guys that want to play in our youth setup as a pathway to our senior team - a team that a lot of guys will now aspire to play for. I will err on the side of caution given what we all saw from Luke Singh vs Leon last year at this same stage. An abysmal Toronto FC team knocked out Club Leon after some very promising performance debut by Luke Singh. However, I thought both Kone & Zouhir looked like they belong and I truly believe Piette might have some stiff competition this season. That midfield is getting very crowded with Canadian talent up in Montreal.
