    We used to rave about kids playing in 5th division Portugal. Now we have a young player going into Sweden's first division & people are hammering him down by saying he ain't ready. Man, how far have we come! And we are probably just getting started.

    The objective of the CPL is to create a pathway to young Canadians. Forge will make some money & will find another one. Might be just one that just scored on loan. Any Canadian going abroad should be celebrated. These kids will come back one day, with experience, might play in our leage in their 30's & coach. It's a win-win for everyone, except Forge's fan in the short term.

    His season will end here in MLS pretty soon. He'll have the chance to play a full euro season & see at the end of next year. A good position to be in if you plan to be in the 26 at the WC26.
