I know some people want to play the strongest version of the US, but I am fine with catching a bit of a break and (hopefully) grabbing 3 points.  Too much riding on this to want to roll the dice any more than we have to. 

This could seriously be a massive step in getting us to the 2022 WC.

After 3 weeks of nightmares, Pulisic was starting to settle down. Then he received an anonymous email with a video attachment. He knew he shouldn't open something from a questionable source, but he couldn't resist. My sources tell me that Bradley was fine at full-time on Sunday. However, while lined up to collect their runners up medals, Liam Fraser was seen to whisper in his ear, "See you on Friday, Skipper." Suddenly, poor Michael felt a twinge in his ankle. #Apprenticitis

So can one of the number crunchers remind me what a win would do for us in terms of hex chances?   Is it still contingent on Curaçao at that point or do we control our own destiny?   

I know it gets us another high-point CNL game, but if we stumbled there would a win this week be enough?

I am pretty sure Herdman will have the boys absolutely ripping to get another win.   I don’t think motivation will be an issue at all.

Pulisic is a big loss but let's not get ahead of ourselves. We are still the underdogs, or at least we should go into the match with that mentality. I hope the players, fans and media keep feet firmly on the ground.

We can't afford to celebrate before the ball has been kicked. They still have some dangerous players. It is fine to up the optimism but it won't be easy. We shouldn't get carried away.

Agreed.  It feels eerily like the Haiti game... I need to keep reminding myself that as a CMNT supporter, I am a lot like Charlie Brown lining up to kick the ball.  Lucy won't possibly pull it away again this time will she?

We need to keep the “David vs Goliath” mentality coming into this game.. even with the US missing some notables and their golden boy, it’s important we play with the same heart we did in Toronto. I trust JH will have the boys buzzing the finish them

Their trash tier fanbase is celebrating Bradley’s injury, I hope they all get to see how great their MLS midfielders are.

If they lose it will still be Bradley’s fault, and despite their lack of talent it will also be all Berhalter’s fault!
