Good team.

Reading reactions of Uruguay fans.

First concern, both Cáceres in the CB spot, especially Martín, who is older and not too tall. We have to attack both of them. Many would have prefered Rogel and Cabrera, but even so: the weakest part of this team.

Other: wondering why they are still playing Suárez and not trying other options. Mostly because he's semi-retired from competitive football, really, having returned to Uruguay.

Related: not putting Valverde in a transitional attacking position with a single striker like Núñez, or pushing him forward in general.

Keeper: Rochet is at Nacional as well, after playing a few years in Netherlands, then was in Turkey but his last year did not play a single game. For the NT he got his first cap earlier this year in qualifying. Don't know him and won't underestimate him.

Again: have to get the ball past their midfield because the line to exploit is the back one. If we don't have the ball, can't work possession and they absorb our counters, then we won't exploit the rival's weakness.

The Vitoria switch has more to do with Hutchinson by starting Kennedy IMO. If Atiba is out and from what we’ve seen, he’s plan B if Vitoria is out to hold down the back line. So if he can’t make it to Qatar, you need a new plan B and I guess they want to give Kennedy a true shot

Herdman may be worried about their speed and wants to see how Kennedy does against really mobile forwards.  With no real evidence whatsoever I am thinking that Morocco may be a faster team so Herdman may just want to see a different look.

How do you mix that up lol

OneSoccer (and for some reason, CONCACAF in general) graphics are constantly screwed up. Not just who is starting, but what positions they are playing. Routinely see like strikers at right back, centre mids at left wing etc. It's very Mickey Mouse
