blueseeka
Greece was eliminated for Euro's today by Georgia in pk's 😔 I was hoping Canada might get a friendly with them in June, if both Canada and Greece were preparing for tournaments narduch, johnyb, jhoops__ and 1 other

I see Colombia start on the 25th in Houston, is that right? We start 4 days earlier. So we'd have to play, say, around the 14-15th at the latest. I don't know where we are doing our prep, or if it matters, but we could split the distance if travel is a factor. Canuckia
Kadenge
Not sure if anyone watched the Germany v Netherlands friendly yesterday, but it was a fantastic game. Very intense for a friendly but expected with the history btw those 2 nations. The Dutch are going to be a massive test for us, especially our defenders. They have brought in some new young players and their 21 yr old keeper looks like a stud. Germany have re- loaded as well and seem to have found their mojo again. johnyb, Obinna, WestHamCanadianinOxford and 1 other

It truly was and the dutch are only going to get better vs us. Koeman has been experimenting with 4-3-3 and 3-5-2. Verbruggen (the young GK) is not even the guaranteed starter but should be IMO and I think he will. Currently flekken and bijlow have also been considered with no one claiming the spot 100%. The dutch were also without many key players through injury. Van de Ven - His speed would be tough for us but he likely doesnt start over ake timber/de vrij - The are both more comfortable than de ligt at RCB in a 3 and usually have been starting over de ligt. Hartman/maatsen/malacia - Hartman is likely the lwb starter. Blind is a weak spot defensivley and doesnt provide an attacking threat other than his superior ball progression Frenkie de jong - rolls royce midfielder koopmeiners - top player for atlanta and can do everything. 10 goals from midfield already... hasnt really clicked with the national team. gravenberch - outside shot for the national team berghuis and bergwijn - depth players with some creativity Lang - lots of optimism on him. He has the creative spark the dutch seem to lack without depay zirkzee and brobbey - 2 big boy strikers. Should both be significantly better than weghorst Now add in the fact that Reijders was tired and playing slightly out of position Gakpo on the bench Simons on the bench The dutch could step up a few gears by the time we play them. ake van dijk de vrij Hartman/maatsen frenkie reijnders dumfries/frimpong malen/lang depay/brobbey/zirkzee gakpo/xavi Unnamed Trialist, Kadenge, cornerkick and 1 other 3
Olympique_de_Marseille
France reversed the venue order for their friendlies? Bordeaux → Metz instead of Metz → Bordeaux? https://www.leparisien.fr/sports/football/euro/euro-2024-le-programme-complet-de-lequipe-de-france-26-03-2024-RLAHTZZGOZEENO4ZGI3SRZU2GM.php If we play France it would be in Metz, so only ~415km from Rotterdam and a 5 hour drive instead of the over 1000km between Rotterdam and Bordeaux. I don't think "the distance between venues" is an issue for the CSA here.
