José Fajardo and Alberto Quintero are suspended.

Juan Gabriel Calderón Pérez from Costa Rica
He was our ref for our 2021 Gold Cup match vs Haiti and much more recently, back in March for our match down in Curaçao where Juriën Gaari got two yellows

It looks like Quintero started 3 of the 4 group stage matches. Fajardo only had one appearance as a sub in the final group stage match, but he made the most of it and scored in Costa Rica. It's worked out nicely for us that neither will be available.

The last time we played them, they were pretty effective with a high press. I'd be surprised if they didn't try it again.

If so, it will make for some nervy back passes.

It's not the highest risk bet but my money is on "both teams to score". Wish there was a bet for "Borjan Blunder".

We also screwed them over the last friendly in Vancouver, which they travelled for, did not play, I suppose got paid for but still. We screwed them. If they wanted to have some emotional incentive to take us down, fact is: they could be more motivated to defeat us than we them. 

Then there's the x-factor of Christiansen being a good candidate for Canada if Herdman bails ;) early.

They will be well prepped for this one.  They'll be a tough out.

Regardless, we should still win this.  If we don't, then close scrutiny needs to be done.
