So, we missed a penalty, Honduras scored on their only shot on target and we still smashed them. Crazy times - in a perverse way I'm glad I'm old enough to really appreciate it.

Midfield 3 was fantastic tonight. I think that was Kone's best game. David was very involved all night, works well when he has that second striker so he can drop into pockets.

Obviously he’s not back to the player he was before his injury, but it was nice to see him get out there and add an assist just for his psyche. Exorcises some of the demons from Gold Cup ‘21. When you suffer a serious injury like that, your trust/belief in your own body is the last thing to come back.
