gator
BBC saying it was a knee on knee collision, hopefully it is just a bruise but if he has a moon boot on his ankle that has to be very concerning!

Joe1973
Didn't see collision; when I tuned in he was already on ground getting treatment. He was really struggling and in pain.

InglewoodJack
Ah crap, I thought they just took him out early because it was a pointless league cup game. Mo Farsi, you ARE a CANMNT player finchster

dyslexic nam
So definitely ankle and not knee. No way his is bouncing around in a boot if it was his knee.

Still should probably lay off a semi-final celebration, even if against Rangers, if there is anything at all.

Ankle. Must have strained/extended it from the impact 'cause it looked shin-on-shin to me. A strange one. Of all the things on an afternoon when it was "anything goes". gator

InglewoodJack
Hopefully he can catch a breather too. He’s very important to us, but I wouldn’t be completely devastated if he sits out NL, just given how much he’s played over the past two years. sstackho
https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/alistair-johnston-celtic-injury-return-26976223 Postecoglou does expect the 24-year-old to miss tomorrow evening's match with Hibs at Easter Road but he is also optimistic that Johnston will be fit and available to face Inverness in the Scottish Cup final on June 3 after training this week. "Yeah he trained today, his first session and trained fine. He won't play tomorrow but all things being equal if he gets through the rest of the week's training he should be available for the weekend's game," the Australian said. "We'll just see and hopefully get him some game time at the weekend and assess it from there. He's worked really hard with the cup final in mind to try and get back, he's got back really well, worked hard with the medical team and looked after himself. "Good to see him training today and it's good to have him back, have him part of it as he's been a big part the second half of the year."
