Atlantic Posted October 31, 2022 Share Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) I could’ve sworn that Goodman was born in Canada and moved to England at around age 11 but it would make more sense that it was difficult to get his passport right away because he had only lived in Canada but was not born here (ala Ike Ugbo). I mean Marcello Flores was on our provisional list for the Gold Cup and he was never seriously interested. He could also pull a Luca Koleosho and accept an invite on the condition he doesn't play. It's kind of a no brainer. Pay to travel to Nigeria to train with the team or have England pay for you to train with their team. As a young academy player, pretty easy decision when you don't have a major salary contract. Much like Jebbison the chances are he doesn't end up repping England past the u21s. Just far too much competition. We shall see where he is at then and who he picks.
