Obinna
I am also concerned but I think he will surface at a decent level. The longer he stays unattached, the more I lose hope that he'll play in the EPL this season. I think at this stage, a move to a promotion candidate would be what i'd expect. We've heard the Aston Villa link and that wouldn't be the worst move to in the world. I like their long term future more than QPR's.
shamrock
I think it's smart. Clubs are getting nervous as season is about to begin. Available quality players are getting ever so scarce. Nothing like a bit of competition to get a good deal. Obinna
Obinna
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/08/03/am-should-wolves-consider-a-move-for-junior-hoilett/page/1/ Now the talk is Wolves. It is nothing concrete, once again, but it's positive to hear some chatter. Again, it is only a recommendation for Wolves to consider him. Wolves apparently have new ownership who are willing to splash the cash.
Vince193
I have a completely baseless theory. He had been linked with Besiktas, and perhaps a move their was on the horizon after the Tore loan but when the coup attempt happened it might have screwed up negotiations. Just a thought. Things have been quiet for a while now. Obinna

Stryker911
Is he still using his dad as his agent? He gave some bad advice in the past.... maybe it's time to get a real agent. toontownman
Obinna
I don't know why Burnley don't snap up Junior. I'm listening to a fan podcast now - sounds like they desperately need a wide player to give them an impact off the bench. http://www.nonaynever.net/ Can one of you start a Junior to Burnley FC rumour on twitter or something? jpg75
king1010
So is anybody else concerned that hoilett wont have any games in at a club prior to our wcq? Lofty, Bertuzzi44, Kent and 1 other

Obinna
Not bad, but wouldn't Fabian Castillo be competition? I just hope he lands somewhere decent soon. Interesting that he was linked with Besiktas before - this makes me think they chose not to sign him, rather than the other way around.

He never did last a full 90 mins against mexico either if i recall. Maybe tesho or ricketts comes in at the 60 minute mark for him?

dyslexic nam
If he sees these games as an opportunity to put himself in the shop window for transfers, we could benefit. A hungry, motivated Junior could be an important factor.

dyslexic nam
I guess we are trying to 'read the tea leaves' without a lot of info. From my perspective, he has seemed fully committed to the team now that he has actually made the decision. I am hoping he comes with the intention of leaving it all on the field - though I can see your point. jonovision and yomurphy1

Let's hope for the first option. Also, anyone that follows, has played, coached etc. knows that a tentative Junior is more likely to get injured.
