It seems like there are opportunities to drive to the goal and shoot or cross, but they both seem to go for the early cross every time. So many times he has been chasing back behind the opposing attackers and not in a position to stop the attack if the pass came through to his mark. lowlander Posted July 30, 2022 Share Posted July 30, 2022 (edited) Leipzig ran them close in the end, 5-3. Davies set up the 5th in the 98’, a clearance that set Sane free. I did not watch the whole game but Davies looked pretty good. The last 15 minutes or so he looked tired. In particular, after making a run up field he did not get back in the picture to help prevent the third goal. Otherwise not responsible for any goals against. Still keep hoping he will score himself.
