Canadians in MLS 2019 Season

Recommended Posts

If a mod could de-stickie the 2018 one and replace with this......

Kristian Jack makes his picks for the Top 5 Canadians current in MLS:

Let's see which Canadians who didn't make this list (Teibert, Montgomery, Chapman, Cornelius, AJH, Jakovic, Johnson, Fraser among them) are the first to say "Screw you KJ!" during a goal celebration this year......

Players I feel have the biggest upside: MDK and Cornelius. If Kaye continues to develop like he has under Bradley, he will top this list in a year or so. (You heard it hear first).

How did Tesho make that list ahead of some of the guys listed above?  He will most likely never see The CMNT again. Loved when he committed but he is not one of our top players.  Perhaps he wanted to spread the love around to a number of teams.

Neither Tesho or Henry belong on that list. If they had good seasons they could maybe work their way into the top 5 but they would not be the players I am betting on to be in the top 5 this year.

But doesn't he count as a domestic since he was an academy player?  Or was he only a TFC II player and that doesn't count?

Only California and New york have produced more MLS players than Ontario

Interesting that both California and New York both have multiple MLS teams as well (Well I guess RB is technically New Jersey)

Interesting... Would love to see this for players with, say, 20+ MLS matches.

Edwards is back with the Fire , comes on for fellow ex-TFC teammate Niclas Hasler in the 35th minute and scores early in the second half to pull his team within 2. Match is currently on TSN 1

Tajon Buchanon got 10 minutes last week and just subbed on in the 72' against Atlanta.  Down 2-0.

Was the final substitute for NE and kept Agudelo on the bench.
