Exactly. To me it smacks of unjustified confidence from Herdman. We beat USA and Mexico by sitting back, what made him think we could beat better teams by playing forward.

Kamal is definitely on the slow side.  After watching the Belgium goal it isn’t surprising to see Morocco try the long ball, and specifically try it in the space between Vitoria and Miller.  That is directly out of the scouting report.

Morocco can beat us 4-0 in soccer, but we would beat them 40-0 in hockey. We’re still on top.

Aye. Tough group then, tough group now. Harsh learning lessons. Small margins but big errors. Not being clinical while the opposition is. That's top level football. You get published. 

Sad for Borjan. We all know he has plenty of changers in him and he us erratic. His leadership and other plus points earned him the chance. This is likely his only world cup and the beginning of his transition out of number 1. At least it's an easier decision now.

Our CM pool is great if even like two of the prospects pan out. I'm not worried about that at all. The reason our CM's look bad today is Because Herdman doesn't get it through his head that a two man midfield against better teams is suicide for us. Our attack quality doesn't offset the amount of work the midfield and defence have to do.
