David Edgar has signed with Birmingham City of the English Championship

Well, this is good news in terms the style Birmingham play, or at least used to.

However looks as though he is being brought in as one of several defenders, likely to challenge the incumbents of a defense that had the third highest number of goals against last season.

He will be behind Captain Robinson, and Spector, no doubt.

I hate to say it, but he may be watching most of next season from the bench, yet again.

I highly doubt that Nick de Santis has seen enough of Edgar to sign him. Please don't write your opinion on potential venues. This thread is about SIGNINGS, not wet dreams.

Hey Mods, how about a PINNED for "Rumours of Canadian Moves"? Might also cut down on number of minor threads.

Nik Ledgerwood has signed with Energie Cottbus, until 2016. They were relegated from the 2.B  and will surely be looking to gain promotion out of the third league. He follows a long line of canucks at that club.

Well, for all the flak he seems to get on this forum, he never seems to have any trouble finding work. Yes, he tends to troll the lower leagues.... but I think we can all agree it's more important for a guy to be playing... than anything. Though 3. Bundesliga prob has to be the bottom of the pool we make call-ups from.

That being said, he has been a reliable servant for his country, and that's worth something.
