Opened dialogue with the Katz Group 👀 or construction of a new stadium in the ice district 👀

There were rumors (true or not, i don't know) that the league didn't want Katz.

If true, that's dumb... sell to Katz at this point. The Oilers marketing machine would do wonders for that club

I know, I know - likely won't happen.

Good news slowly getting better and better...

"FC Edmonton has also announced a hefty barrage of corporate partnerships of late, confirming twelve new sponsors in the last month alone. There’s been a growing air of positivity within Clarke Stadium that seems to be buoyed by the growing reality that a new owner looks to be, at last, closing in."

Perhaps, hopefully, with refreshed ownership Clarke Stadium can get an upgrade to make it a cozier, larger capacity stadium (with the cooperation of the city).

They are better off building something new elsewhere. The city wouldn't even play ball with the bare minimum the Fath and the league were asking.

if this team had 3/4 more players resigned from last year - Ongaro, Marcus Velado, Amir Didic and some local academy players for depth like Amanda or the usl loanees. think this is team would be in the top 3 in the standings. good news on ownership.

Disappointing that Velado never turned up anywhere, still so young
