Keegan
Sucks to be drawn with French Guiana when we need FIFA points. I think in typical Canadian fashion we will pull a surprise and beat Costa Rica then follow that up with a loss to Honduras and a draw to French Guiana. sloth8
I'm optimistic that we can get out of the group stage as one of the best 3rd place teams. I like that we are playing FG first and hopefully can build off the confidence of getting 3 points. A draw against either or both CR and Honduras is not out of the question - especially if they bring less experienced squads.

Addona
I hate this draw ... as usual we end up in a group with a non-FIFA member, and that is our most winnable match. So, another GC without earning a single FIFA point is most certainly possible. I hate this BS ...
Kent
I am just hoping we score a goal. Ideally not from a PK. Let's end the streak!

We've never had anything more than a 1 goal victory in this tournament in 10 years, including playing the powerhouses of Guadeloupe and Martinique in that timeframe. We haven't scored a goal in 6 years FFS.
Toje
French Guiana will play in the Caribbean Cup from June 22-25. They will play Jamaica in the SF on June 22nd. The other SF is between Curacao and Martinique with the final being played on June 25th. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2017_Caribbean_Cup

Levi Oakey
We're going to win this tournament. Last Gold Cup was a fluke. This team is good. Larin will win the Golden boot.
Big_M
Should be able to win at least two of three if we have a quality coach in place.

Shway
Man I really hate the coach talks, it doesn't mean shit unless he's willing to set us up to score....at least once. We could have Carlo Ancelotti, and I don't think he does anything....players decide everything.

A good manager will put belief in our players, give the club respect and encourage them to do the best they can. That's where most of the managing is.So a manager certainly does matter, but it isn't going to qualify us alone.

All coaches should be paid 70% less. At the highest level they make way too much money.

But if you are paying your coach to play football manager.. It should cost at most 52$ a year.
Stryker911
Why is everyone so confident about getting a good results against French Guiana? There are about 5 or 6 players that play in Ligue 1 or Ligue 2.
