ESPN downplaying MLS in order to tamp down new rights deal fee 2. American stars are in Europe 3. Shifting schedules over the past 3 years 4. More PL matches on USA network which has bigger reach than shutdown NBCSN. All PL is also on Peacock which is free for Comcast subs. 5. US networks have always favoured showing matches with great atmosphere off the pitch.
