Looks like there is some sort of agreement between the two clubs.

In the Dutch Eredivisie Jonathan de Guzman starts and plays the 90 as Feyenoord draw 10th place RKC Waalwijk 1-1. Not as good as a result as may have been hoped as AZ Alkmaar defeat Willem II and further close the gap for 2nd in the Eriedivisie.

Since no one else has mentioned it, Richard Hastings of Inverness Caledonian Thistle also played the duration as Inverness held Hearts for a nil-nil draw. Haven’t read the reports yet but a grand result from a surprisingly game Inverness side this year.

No Dodds for Kilmarnock at Ibrox on Saturday. Kili are sent a 4-nil message by Rangers. Rangers scored two late as Kili #1 Alan Combe was sent off for a foul in the area.

No Radz anywhere as Fulham visit Goodison Park and are promptly thumped 3-1. Two cracking goals by Everton’s two James (Beattie & McFadden). Not at all sure why Radz was left off the roster. Will have to do some digging.

JB also played the 90 Saturday (a-gin) as Southampton allow a late one against Crewe Alex at Gresty Road and can only manage a 1-1 draw.

Pesch only plays the last few minutes at Pride Park as Derby put the boots to Burnley leading 3-nil after a half hour and finishing off along the same score line..

^ Grand news for NY, horrid news for Greg Sutton.

I know he got discouraged last year and all but he has years of decent footie left in him. If it has to go to New York to find some traction, well I guess he has to go to New York. And you know what they say, if you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere. Especially as a goal keeper.

I'm not convinced it is such a horrible move for Greg.

With a new stadium and new management, MAYBE Red Bulls will finally turn it around. I'm not optimistic about it but it is possible that the move to the new stadium might result in some positive momentum for the club and now might be the perfect time to get on board.

good to see Greg re-appear. let's see if he sticks. He has dual citizenship so he doesn't count as a foreign player if my memory serves

Taylor Lord and Nigel Marples are participating in an invite only player combine for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. They were the only 2 Canadian names that I saw on the list:

No news on Mozesh Gyorio who participated in their Liverpool combine in December:

I didn't want to take up a whole new thread, but I have a question for you guys. Im up to date on most canadian youth players, but I just got a juicy bit of information on a kid who I have never heard of before. FC Dallas has claimed a discovery player spot for Edson Edward from Graceland University. Hes from Ottawa and Ive never heard of him....

This doesnt mean that he is going to sign with them, but i figure he will be in the camp this year.

Any ideas who he is?

He was part of the GU team that won the NAIA National Championship in 2006. I've never heard of him but you might want a ask Josh Wagenaar (if you have him on facebook) since he usually train with GU men's during the summer or when he doesn't have a club (his father is the head coach of the women's at GU).

Seems he played for Kansas City Wizards Academy.

Also goes by the name Giovanni Edson Edward.

He had made himself available for the draft but I guess wasn't chosen.

Ya know, i thought he was born in '84 for some reason...but he wasn't, he was born in Dec. 1980 so he just turned 29:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Rowland

Had trials with ManU, Everton and Fulham. Ended up playing indoor after realizing he didn't want to be a backup with the Lynx. It'd be a shame if he hung them up now, he could actually still make a decent career for himself if he plays well in the NASL. Look at Pat Onstads career trajectory, there's no reason Rowland couldn't do the same. As recently as 2 years ago Crystal Palace UK were looking at him when he impressed in a friendly between the 2 CP's.

I remember reading good stuff about Rowland, people were saying his move to Crystal Palace was imminent. Now in the NASL he can realistically throw himself into the MNT mix at least! He would have been a good call up to this camp going on right now to build depth. He can't be far down the domestic depth chart for keepers
