JoshieScores
FAIL! I was kinda hoping pseudo-retro-England-ish kit...
canucklefan
I don't mind it. Frankly they will start to look a lot better if the team wearing them starts winning a little more often. That's one of the reasons I didn't want to buy it, the teams doesn't win... and with this horrible design, there won't be any hesitation at all. jonovision
I'm on board. I'd rather we go with memorably ugly than the complete non-entity that was the Adidas design. And of the shirts, only the red is truly hideous.
Jeremy
maybe i will buy the white one... but the red one sucks.

forster01
Damn!!!! The red jersey is awful, as soon as i saw it, i was put off. However i do like the white jersey very Man city-ish, and i would certainly buy it.
Alex D
I don't even mind the red so much, I think the single colored logo ruins it. I can only hope umbro fixes that before they hit the shelves

jonovision
I've been looking at the chevron and trying to place where I had seen something like it before, and then I realized it's on the shirt I'm wearing right now, which is the Netherlands 2nd jersey from the World Cup (http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prod_images/zoom/PDS010009062.jpg)
rdroze
I will probably grow to like it over time, but for now... Blech. Ugh. Yuck.

dbailey62
I found that the red shirt looked much better once it was being paraded around the room on the backs of Adrian Cann and Nana Attakora. I was ok with it on the mannequins but in motion, it looked better. I think it will grow on many who don't care for it now. Yes, the white looks good. I quite like it. Lord Bob
If Umbro was determined to stick to this motif, that's my own five-minute conception of how our reds should have looked. The new kit is a good concept, I think. Just the execution is letting us down.
Kusch to the Corner
Whites OK, reds could be better...

paul-collins
That's pretty reasonable, Lord Bob. I dunno, the more I think of it the more I come to the conclusion that it's the black shorts that are the easiest fix. Go with white shorts (and fix the logo to have an all-white background in the red jersey) and I can live with it.
killgod
Is there any realistic possibility that they will change at this point?
paul-collins
I can't see it changing wholesale, but I could see the logo being tweaked as suggested (white background for the reds). That I suspect only came about because they used an existing embroidery file (with spaces) rather than redoing it with full coverage.
Gian-Luca
Is there any realistic possibility that they will change at this point? Unlikely for 2011 after all the hoopla last night that the basic design would change, but the impression I got at the event last night is that these will be changed for 2012 anyway due to the 100 year anniversary of the CSA/National soccer team(s), with a possible Centennery match to celebrate the 100 year anniversary. Hmm, now I don't know if I'd even want to buy one. I'm not sure if I even like these...and if they are to change again just next year....
Keegan
It amazes me that Lord Bob and Soju can put together better designs than professionals, I'd say anyone on the boards could... seriously how hard is it!? I can live with the black but its just so prominent that it sucks... hopefully after the greece match these kits will look better to us but for now they look like something we've seen the guys wear in training.
