Mo Farsi continues to start nearly every game for Columbus as they down Club America 4-1 to top the league cup group. They’re comfortably in a playoff spot in the league as well. He’s definitely turning into one of the better CPL exports

Official: Federico Peña leaves Umeå FC

Federico Peña joined Umeå FC on the last day of the transfer window in March. Now the fullback is leaving the club.

At the end of March, on the last day of the transfer window, Federico Peña, 24, was presented to division 1 club Umeå FC.

The full-back, who has an international cap for Trinidad and Tobago on his record, then signed for a year.

But on Monday it became clear that the fullback would leave. This after only playing 19 minutes for Umeå.

- With one week left of the winter window, we received the news that Hugo Bergtröm would miss large parts of the spring season due to injury. At that time, we had to find a player who could replace Hugo in the short term, be free on the market and be accommodated in the remaining player budget, says sports manager Adam Chennoufi to the club's website and continues:

- Unfortunately, Federico's start with us was tough as he was both sick and sustained an injury that kept him out for a few weeks, which meant that he ended up behind the rest of the squad. At the same time, Federico has been incredibly professional during his time here and is a player that we wish all the best for the future.
