Does anyone know how the University returnees have fared this year? Schaale, Kotsopoulos, Bitar?

Took a quick look at some stats based on the latter two being attacking players and seems Kotsopoulos has only played two games with no goals and Bitar only had 3 goals in 9 games. Both of them put up big numbers the year before CPL and was wondering what was up

Sacramento makes his debut with Hawke's Bay  going 81 minutes and picking up a caution.   Also in the same game, Hoy scores for Hawke's Bay and former Whitecaps II player Myer Bevan scores 3 for Auckland City.

Ferguson signs with Canterbury, Stephen Hoyle signs with Eastern suburbs, both teams play their first game of the season today.

Schaale just scored the wining goal in extra time in the AUS Final, so seems he’s doing pretty well. Also heard he’s been in chats with the Wanderers for a return next year.

Schaale and Bitar will be playing at the National finals in Montreal.   Schaale (2g 0A and 1g 0A AUS finals) was nominated as U-Sports MVP (won by Sissoko)and made the first all-star team. Bitar (6g 2A and 1g 0A in OUA finals) made the U-Sports 2nd all-star team.

All CanPL departures in first post.

Welshman comes in  as a sub and plays 62 minutes in Israel. Bitar and Schaale play in the Canadian University Championships, Bitar gets re-drafted by Cavalry and Schaale gets ignored.

Have to say I've got no problem with guys at this level jumping ship, pretty clear they arent going to be in the CanMNT plans at this point and they get to be a part of the rise of a smaller nation, and rep the CPL in the Gold Cup.

Certainly raises the profile of CPL as well

Hoyle scores 2 against Hawkes Bay in a 3-3 tie, Sacramento goes 90.   Ferguson scores his 1st of the season for Canterbury, already played more minutes then he did with Valour.

Welshman subs on for 9 minutes in Israel, a 1-3 loss.

Carlos Stein were just promoted to Peru's top division this past year, actually. They won the Copa Peru, which promoted them directly to the Liga 1.

Not sure what this means, seems like a complex system, doesn't say what happens to Carlos Stein; https://elcomercio.pe/deporte-total/futbol-peruano/copa-peru-2019-en-vivo-programacion-y-partidos-de-la-ultima-fecha-de-la-finalisima-deportivo-llacuabamba-vs-carlos-stein-chavelines-vs-sport-estrella-ver-copa-peru-en-vivo-por-internet-streaming-noticia/

Deportivo Llacuabamba was crowned champion of the Peru Cup and ascends to League 1 2020

Deportivo Llacuabamba equaled 2-2 with Carlos Stein and is the new tenant of the first division of Peruvian football
