Guest
I say as Canadians we are too nice. The clubs have no right to hold back their players as it is an INTERNATIONAL break. We have the absolute right to call up our best players and should

Implying if they go to the national team game then their club situation will be compromised. So yeah, force the calls, see how that works for the club situation of our extremely small player pool. Seems to depend heavily on the club. Haber, JDG, etc have mentioned that, but guys like Jackson and Aird apparently had very supportive managers. Looking at those names, it probably has to do more with whether or not you start at your club. That and I doubt League 1 level managers are used to such requests

Toje
"Larin said he wasn’t certain if he was going to be called into the pair of friendlies next month in Morocco against Mauritania and Morocco in Marrakech but with his team still in the midst of a playoff push, you’d have to imagine that he’ll take a pass on this camp and play in a November camp, which the CSA has said they’re hoping to schedule. The Canadian squad will be announced before the end of the week." https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/eh-game/as-giovinco-s-spell-on-sidelines-lengthens--toronto-fc-spins-its-wheels-133749865.html
Complete Homer
^He must have said that before the match, Orlando just got eliminated from contention EDIT: Second thought, he might be the reason the roster hasn't gotten released, Kreis could have said he could go if they don't advance, and CSA was waiting to see? Boominbooty
read the full release, Johnson's exclusion is explained: Samuel Adekugbe (21), Jay Chapman (22), Will Johnson (29), Ben McKendry (23), Michael Petrasso (21), and Russell Teibert (23) were invited to camp, but unavailable through injuries. I saw someone mention they were out after losing to TFC but with three games left they are only 5 points behind DC, so they should still be in it. Orlando never did the CSA the favour of releasing him for Olympic Qualifying so it seems you don't get anything in return when you play nice with the clubs. However, I want to see what Hamilton can do.
