I say as Canadians we are too nice. The clubs have no right to hold back their players as it is an INTERNATIONAL break. We have the absolute right to call up our best players and should

Hasn't there been stories about clubs pressuring players into turning down national team call ups? Implying if they go to the national team game then their club situation will be compromised.

So yeah, force the calls, see how that works for the club situation of our extremely small player pool.

Seems to depend heavily on the club. Haber, JDG, etc have mentioned that, but guys like Jackson and Aird apparently had very supportive managers. Looking at those names, it probably has to do more with whether or not you start at your club. That and I doubt League 1 level managers are used to such requests

"Larin said he wasn’t certain if he was going to be called into the pair of friendlies next month in Morocco against Mauritania and Morocco in Marrakech but with his team still in the midst of a playoff push, you’d have to imagine that he’ll take a pass on this camp and play in a November camp, which the CSA has said they’re hoping to schedule.

The Canadian squad will be announced before the end of the week."

Thoughts on Will Johnson's exclusion?

Might be good to see new faces in midfield. Although I will be happy when/if he gets back into the squad.

Only 5 CBs with one of them able to play RB! What a change!

Although they do have Straith as Mid.
