For the last four or five broadcasts we did for Atleti last season it was a constant narrative. And awful. 😡 Edited September 19, 2023 by gwsmith63 Unnamed Trialist

Copes
I don't understand your logic. Nothing says that the minutes need to be earned a certain way or paced a certain way. I'm just rattled as a fan that we are riding the line so closely. There is just no need. RS and jonovision

You're right, no question. You can do it as you wish. But it's a bad look to be scrambling for U21 minutes in a late playoff race, it shows you couldn't give af about it, and with it giving younger (U21 aren't children FFS) guys a chance. Olympique_de_Marseille
Updated once more. https://canpl.ca/u-21-minutes-played/ For the final match: - Forge are missing 38 minutes. So one player. - York are missing 123 minutes, which obviously can be broken down into [90 + 33] or [~62 minutes × 2], so at least two players are needed. - Halifax are missing 195 minutes, which can be broken down into [90 + 90 + 15] or [~65 minutes ×3], so at least 3 players are needed. Risky with the possibility of injury or a direct 🟥 or a 🟨🟨.

Risky with the possibility of injury or a direct 🟥 or a 🟨🟨. Forge has no great concern, it's not a lot of minutes. But a loss or draw plus a Pacific win gives the latter 2nd place, so Forge won't want to relax entirely. York and Halifax are in more of a fight. HFX has fourth ensured and while they could leapfrog Pacific with a win and the latter not winning, they are playing an unmotivated basement dweller who can't pass VFC anymore even with a win, as Vancouver have more wins (the first tiebreaker in the table). HFX could reasonably get those u-21 minutes and even choose to rest starters. York are in a tighter spot, they really need a win and can't relax. If At Ottawa win and they draw, they tie at 36 points, tie in wins, but Ottawa beat them on goal difference. And they are away to the team in the best form in the league after Calvary playing to a home sendoff. So they are going to have to ensure their u-21 minutes and not allow that to sacrifice anything.
