I don't necessarily agree with this. It'd be a Canadian nod to European clubs where there are other sports teams associated with the football club. I don't see why that shouldn't be something leveraged if the ownership group is the same.

Seeing as it seems more and more likely that Edmonton are back in I would love to see a rebrand of FCE.

York 9 is set to be announced in early May. Here is a concept I made for them. I usually make my own crests, but this one was leaked. 9 stripes represent the 9 boroughs of Toronto/York being ward 9.
