Potential CPL logo concepts

They won't be green for two reasons.

1. This is the logo that the CPL trademarked. This is most likely going to be their colour scheme.

 

2. I've done design work for one of the potential CPL team, and using green was not a possibility as two teams will already be green.

 

Green is a severely underrated kit colour though.

Unfortunately, I feel like this will be the sad reality with every single design as they get released. 

 

I've almost accepted this as a fact. Really a shame, especially with most of my designs having gone into the hands of the league and being rejected.

did you submit a application for that position online?

Looks quite good,  but maybe a bit edgy for a league logo. Maybe if it and the letters were in a shield? Or diamond? 

I also see like a diving hawk shape. But also flames? Pretty cool.

I like the aesthetic of the leaf(like the sharpness of it), but it wasn't abundantly obvious to me in the beginning that the shape was supposed to be a shield.  I do like it more now that I see it though.

That would look pretty sharp.

The asymmetry of the P really ruins the balance of it, and that is why I had the CPL at the bottom.

Maybe a shield outlined just around the leaf, with the CPL above it? Lets the letters be larger, the full width of the outline, and the line break up the mis - alignment of the P and leaf.

I wouldn't mind seeing the CPL overtop of the leaf(although it'd have to be a different colour).  It seems odd way up there, definitely better below.

Yeah, it's pretty good. It has that Wolfsburg vibe, a brand all the hipsters will support thinking it's counterculture to TFC.

pretty much exactly what i was going for.  It might need a little bit of tidying up but i'm not sure.

I don't hate it but definitely have seen much better on this thread. Not a huge fan of having the teams name as the main identification of the logo.

I prefer just leaving the original alone. The original colours seem to be an integral part of it.
