But McCoist is confident he could have wideman Aird available in the near future.

He said: "Fraser's a lot better and I would be very hopeful he'll be back with us in 10 days or so.

"He has had a wee strain at the top of his thigh for maybe a month now and he went for a scan on it.

"There's a first-degree tear there which they tell me is far better than a second-degree tear or indeed a third-degree tear.

"I'm relatively happy it's the first one."

Petrasso looking good on the wing. Using quick feet to get past him man.

JGL looking good In the midfield breaking up play and distributing the ball.

England is mostly playing the ball out wide and whipping crosses in while Canada is playing though balls behind the defenders. Jalali missing that extra bit if pace to take advantage of the through balls.

As an Eddies season ticket holder, this is what I've noticed with Jalali. You need pace to play up there unless you're a big target man. Cyle Larin will be able to run Onto those balls for us in qualifying.
