king1010
The Europeans call it u21. Even though it is u20. Interesting because they list our game vs England as an U20. I guess because they have their actualy U21 England team playing tm?

Greatest Cockney Rip Off
Not a lot of people in the ground right now. I have seen a few other Canadians scattered around. Dean Court is a really nice ground.
Barthez-Battalion
It looks like a 4-1-4-1. JGL Froese-Aparicio-Carreiro-Petrasso Jalali I thought Carreiro was a AM?

Levi Oakey
Froese used to play DM for the youth teams. Saying that Robinson has a history (Teibert) of finding new positions for players that works well. So it could be 4-1-4-1. Although it might be more 4-2-3-1. I'd rather him stay more advanced since that's where he's been fantastic for Vancouver's youth teams.
jpg75
Look at the semi-colons, it's a 4-2-3-1 with JGL and Froese as DM's.
Greatest Cockney Rip Off
Canada playing 4231. Aparicio just went in on the goal alone and shot wide.

Greatest Cockney Rip Off
England goal from a whipped cross on the left side. English player made a run and stabbed it in. Canada looks pretty good so far.
Barthez-Battalion
Everything that I've ever read on Froese tells me he is an AM or even a FW by trade. Putting him at DM is....odd.
Levi Oakey
He played as a DM for most of the U17 World Cup: http://uk.soccerway.com/matches/2013/10/22/world/u17-world-cup/canada-u17/iran-u17/1580827/

Levi Oakey
Yeah, he is very versatile, he played fullback a number of times in the PDL, but he played as a winger for Cuba and started playing winger for the Whitecaps more this year. Saying that, I think his long term future is in the defensive midfield role. Robinson (or his youth assistants) has made a number of players change positions in his time though, so don't be surprised if he is trying something different. He was using Alderson at CB for awhile. masster
^i have no idea where you are getting this, but Alderson was never looked at as a CB.
Greatest Cockney Rip Off
Petrasso looking good on the wing. Using quick feet to get past him man. JGL looking good In the midfield breaking up play and distributing the ball. England is mostly playing the ball out wide and whipping crosses in while Canada is playing though balls behind the defenders. Jalali missing that extra bit if pace to take advantage of the through balls.

That's what I was told by a friend of Alderson. Again, nothing serious on that front, but from what my friend said the coaches were encouraging him down that path. I don't know what became of it.
