masster
Everybody can interpret formations differently. Froese would have been the guy that had a bit more freedom to move forward. He seemed to be in attacking positions in some of those highlights.
Barthez-Battalion
So you're taking the word of a foreign FA instead of your fellow V AND the CSA? I haven't seen the official CSA report. Does it list it differently?
Soccerpro
Has anyone seen Harrison Paton - Fulham u18 play before? Probably a bit too young for this team.
baulderdash77
The Daily Mail and the English Match report both say Canada played a 4-1-4-1. Considering that's the formation the national program is building if they did play it I wouldn't be surprised. It was 1 eye witness who said 4-2-3-1 right? Greatest Cockney Rip Off
I was at the match. It was very clearly a 4-2-3-1. If I knew it was going to be such a contentious point I would have taken a photo. Also look at how the csa posted the line up on twitter. They used a semi colon to separate the 4, 2, 3 and 1. JGL and Froese sat in the middle of the park. Petrasso on the left, Aparicio on the right and Carreiro in the middle. Maybe someone can get a good screen shot from the highlights? soccerlife
It was definitely 4231. Froese traditionally has played dm.

Ivan
Who was #16? Didn't recognize him from the highlights. Looked too big to be Froese.
