Just found a striker. Jeremy Caranci, born in 1993 in London, ON. Plays for Benevento Calcio in Prima Divisione - B. Wikipedia says it's 3rd division.

Forgive me if this has been posted already:

Have you ever been capped in the nationals?

“Not yet”.

If you could choose, would you play for Italy or for Canada?

“I’d play for Italy, without a doubt. But if Canada called me, I wouldn’t hold back, it’s always a pleasure playing for your own country”

How can Canadian soccer improve?

“In my opinion we have to call more French and Italian techniques, turning to a technical soccer. Our clubs have a lot of Irish and English players. We need to change and learn new things”.

Nsaliwa left Bucaspor. And Tam isn't playing for Canada not because he wasn't good enough, it was because he doesn't have a Canadian passport.

Forgive me but are you sure this is accurate? According to soccerway, Tam has played in all three games this season for Bucaspor. Or did it happen on the deadline day as well? Also I was not aware he didn't have Canadian passport...odd for a guy who has played at a senior level, how did that come about? Should I color change him? Thanks Blackdude :)

He doesn't have a passport because he gave it away to obtain German citizenship. I could be wrong but I believe this was around the time he played for Nuremberg (I think in the 2.Bundesliga). This qualified him as a European and made it easier to play in Europe, since non-European roster spots are limited. It is a shame because for a while he was doing very well. He had a real good spell at AEK Athens, who were challenging for Greek Super League titles at the time. For a season and a half he was a starter in central midfield for them, the rest of his stay he came off the bench often.

I remember when he came on during our 3-2 loss to Brazil in 2008. He made an immediate impact. Too bad how things fell apart.

I can remember him shutting down Damarcus Beasley in the gold cup 2002 Gold cup.

Gavin McCallum out of favour at Woking: http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hill-dropped-sawyer-mccallum--6172571

He elaborated: “You had a situation that Gavin wasn’t in the 16 at Hyde and didn’t want to turn round and warm up or participate with all his playing squad members and wish them all the best before the game and that wasn’t good enough for me. We then had a situation when we made a substitution after 35 minutes and, to be fair, three, four or five players could have been substituted, but you see things out on the park and it wasn’t right.

Not sure if he is too young to add but Malyk Hamilton who is still with the West Ham Academy isn't listed. I think he is a '99. I had completely forgot about him until a stumbled on a tweet about him scoring twice in a tournament earlier this eek.

Here is an old story about his move.

Tyler Forsey 20, leading scoring in challenge cup in NL this year is currently with the under 23 side of Dynamo Dresden on trial.

Forsey no longer with Dynamo Dresden II. Apparently he quit and the coach was not impressed with his attitude while he was there, despite showing some potential.

I would read the response from Forsey about Dow's comments. Sounds like Dow is his former agent and is pissed off at him and trying to run him down in the media. Very unprofessional and even if it were true (which I suspect it is not) why would an agent go to the media about stuff like this? Forsey says he left Dynamo Dresden II because the pay was only $400 a month not because he had any problems with the coaching staff.

Sounds like Elvir Gigolaj, formerly of FC Edmonton, is training with BSC Hertha. Here's the Google translate:

However, Hertha coach Wissam "Coco" Shaheen is especially excited about a new arrival from overseas. The Canadian attacker Elvir Gigolaj, active in the last season yet in the second North American League for FC Edmonton, for some time trained with at Hertha. "We're just waiting for the international release. The boy is actually incredibly strong, "says Shaheen.

Apparently Adam Appugliesi has signed his first pro contract with Savona in Italy.

"Happy to have signed my first professional contract with Savona FBC. #MugShot http://instagram.com/p/gbJpWuM1K9/ "

https://twitter.com/AdamAppz

I have never heard of this guy before but doing some research he is 19, seems to be a rightback and trained at the Genova International School of Soccer. Savona is a 3rd division team in Italy. If he is getting any playing time that is certainly not a bad place/level to be for a 19 year old.

Sir I agree. 19...I wonder if he is signing for a first team, or into the reserve system? If he's a relative unknown I can't help but wonder if it's the latter...some more info would be wonderful...I'll be updating the list on the weekend, it won't take long, not a lot of movement, I'll try to find out by then :) thanks guys :)

But we are so deep at right back ... he might never get a call-up.

If he's a '94 then he's still eligible for the Savona Berretti (U20) squad which would play the top youth teams of other C1 and C2 clubs and the B teams of Serie A and B clubs.
