NEW Mother of all Canadians Abroad

It's some amateur rec team in Ontario that may not even exist?, looks like a Polish(Canadian) guy trying really hard to look like a pro in a german league, see the results against other Ontario teams on their twitter.

https://twitter.com/SV1931

some Polish soccer forums talk about this Nowak player basically making this all up to try and get trials in Poland and elsewhere, they have made the link that Patrick Nowak is involved with Red Star Brampton of the Polish Canadian Soccer League.

http://www.polishsoca.com/club-soca/player-database/1859-patrick-nowak

Lots of smoke and mirrors

some Poland fans even believed he is a real professional player : "ughh where is blazej patrick nowak.. his 7 goals for lauderbach 1931 should make him our top striker.."

this was before the 2010 world cup.

Grizzly, is this an elaborate joke or something: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sv-lauderbach-1931/startseite/verein_28345.html

I can't find even a mention of this club other than on the transfer sites. Why so many Canadians?!?

Judging from their twitter and the names of some of their opponents, it looks like it is an amateur club from the Kitchener area (which is the reason there are so many Canadians :P )! Not sure why there is an entry on them on transfermarkt.

I think Devor Orgill might be officially connected to Canada now : http://ifkmariehamn.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3336&Itemid=199&catid=28

Somewhere, YNWA is smiling.

The minute he played for Jamaica in an official youth match (CONCACAF U17's in 2007) prior to being eligible for Canada he nullified any chance at ever suiting up for us....not that he probably cares.

SHOCKED that no one has seen it yet, but "Woking Football Club can confirm that Gavin McCallum has been released from his contract, and Gavin has now signed for Skrill South team Sutton United."

http://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/4285/gavin-mccallum/

He is now on loan at Tonbridge Angels of Skrill South.

Confirmation (from Dec. 23) that he will be moving somewhere:

"Ya se sabe que Pelusso cederá a Lucas Cavallini a otra institución. El centrodelantero canadiense no repitió lo que hizo en su paso por Juventud de Las Piedras."

Wasn't Zaragoza interested in him back in the summer? They're sitting mid-table at this point and their top scorer is a 19 yr old kid on loan from Man Utd. They have another forward they brought on loan as well. Who knows, might be a good place to get more PT and perhaps a permanent move eventually?

From what I gather from this article Cavallini will not be going to Spain but will arrive at El Tanque Sisley's training camp tomorrow. Not sure but sounds like it will be a loan:

"Seguramente este martes, estén llegando Caué Fernández cedido por Nacional sin costo y el canadiense Lucas Cavallini también de los tricolores, ya que finalmente no se va a España como se habla anunciado en su momento."

Probably a better place for Cavallini to be at this time than Spain. After doing pretty well for a lower table team in Juventud he takes a small step up in playing for a mid-table team where he should get more opportunity than at Nacional but he will still have to fight for his position because there are a couple of other good strikers.

Today, Tenfield is reporting that Cavallini will go out on loan, but it is unclear as to where, as now Juventud (and El-Tanque Sisley, previously) have been implicated, but apparently Zaragoza is still a possibility. So no confirmation either way yet.

Apparently Jordan Webb has left Home United. I hope he tries out for Ottawa or Edmonton. 41 goals over four seasons in even a mediocre league like Singapore is nothing to scoff at, especially if you are a Canadian midfielder/winger.

http://www.footballopod.com/ViewArticle.aspx?id=9038

Well, this is interesting...

Home United told me just today that Jordan Webb has definitely left the club. He is trying out for clubs in Denmark. Great news.

Yours sincerely, nolando

(president and founding member of the Jordan Webb fan club)

BUT WAIT There's more... because this was just published...

"Former Home United forward Jordan Webb (above, left), is poised to join Aide Iskandar’s Courts Young Lions side for this S-League season, while the team’s main striker last year, Sherif El-Masri (above, right), will also re-sign with the outfit.

Sources revealed that the Canadian duo are being lined up for the Foreign Sports Talent (FST) scheme, with a view to representing the Singapore national team in future.

El-Masri, 23, started his stint in Singapore with Home in 2009, while 25-year-old Webb made his name with Hougang United the following year. That means El-Masri has already fulfilled Fifa’s five-year residency rule to play international football for his adopted country, while Webb will qualify at the end of this year.

Geylang International coach V Kanan believes that while Webb will bring with him a killer instinct, he feels the jury is still out on El-Masri."

I'm pretty sure that El-Masri can't play for Singapore because he has played an official U23 game for Canada before being eligible for Singapore. Unless his grandparents were born in Singapore which I highly doubt (Father is born in Tunisia, mother in Guyana.).

According to ANB one of their alumni Adam Appugliesi (1994) Signed a 1 year professional contract with Savona 1907 FBC (Lega Pro 2nd Div. A)

I could not find him on their first team squad list.

But he is still eligible for their Berretti team, so if anyone knows what he looks like please take a look at this picture (no names)

Jordan Webb joined Sherif El-Masri at Young Lions:

"The Courts Young Lions will spend a month in Turkey as part of their pre-season preparations for the 2014 S.League campaign.

New foreign signings Jordan Webb and Sherif El-Masri will also make up the 24-man squad that is bound for Antalya."
