squid2
DeRo @ BMO vs. MLS teams = goals! He'll add a little flair and buzz with most of his runs. Can Carver incorporate DeRo with Guevera - similar players; and both like to come up the middle.
piltdownman
This is a great pickup. Congrats

Cheeta
Man,you can't tell me Trader Mo swung this. This came from upstairs or was instigated by DDR himself. Julius James and a bit of money for DDR? There's more to this than meets the eye. Or maybe not. But either way at worst it's a very happy accident which profits TFC hugely. ag futbol
^ well i guess the kicker is how much allocation money, but most likely it wasn't that much. TFC had 1M worth to spend.
Neil Brown
F***....I just spent $400 getting a signed DeRo Houston Jersey framed!

This came from upstairs or was instigated by DDR himself. Mo Johnston's problems have mainly been in the international transfer market so I think he probably deserves the credit. From a Houston standpoint De Rosario became expendable because of the emergence of Stuart Holden. Why they would settle for Julius James and 150k worth of allocation money is what surprises me. tmcmurph
This bodes well for next season. Playoffs lookout, here come the TFC. I know just one player doesn't a team make but with AM and DDR they now have 2 serious attacking mids for threats. It will be interesting to see how they play together. Gian-Luca
Best move made by Mo as TFC GM by several light years. I can't believe we got him so cheap. In fact, I think they basically took a player we didn't want or need off our hands, much in the same way that Seattle did. Wow, 4 Canucks on the senior roster and with Nana & Rosenlund as possibilities to join we might see TFC turning into the "Canadian" team that we have all been hoping for. I wonder what happens with Guevara though - having two players in midfield that both demand the ball usually doesn't work, although I guess they might play De Ro as an out & out winger when Guevara is not on int'l duty (which he will be half the time thanks to Canada)
Keano
Dammit nw my dream of seeing DeRo play the Impact WHEN we advance to the Semis of the Champion's League will have to wait until.......... July! Voyageurs Cup! Congrats TFC, and very stoked to see him at Saputo in the summer.
finchster
At least TFC has three Canadians starting, maybe four if Harmse starts at central mid
Vancouversoccerman
Wait...DeRo's Canadian! Won't Mo bench him? Seriously...great (if not obvious) pickup for TFC and it's good to finally see a Canadian of his quality playing at home!
