Not sure who I was pulling for during the shootout. Would have been nice to see a Montreal v Ottawa matchup, but I think Forge is the stronger squad and will make for a better matchup.

An Ottawa football club has never won a penalty shootout. Ottawa Fury lost their last-ever match on penalties, and Atletico Ottawa have now lost two Voyageurs Cup matches on penalties.

Forge don't know how to shoot when there is no wind and good weather. Ottawa was fortunate to get to penalties, seems every team just wants to play negative football against Forge. Too much injury faking in this one as well, refs need to put an end to the obvious time wasting. You can say they should just add it on, but it also makes for a poor viewing experience. This league doesn't need that.

The “best/worst” PK shootout was our CanWmnt v Sweden at the Olympics- eyes bleeding quality but my team won

As a Forge fan- this PK shootout was a tight second - glad Forge won too

I am known to be a little harsh on Henry and when this match went to PK's I thought we were done based on past history in these competitions, Henry did quite well in this one, it was an exciting end to a match that wasn't full of action, a fun night at THF!

Have to agree. I've been pretty critical, but I'd say he's been our most important player so far this season. In addition to the penalties, he made a couple key stops. It's also been some time since he made a mistake playing the ball, so maybe he's cleaned up that part of his game.
