Yes, I used to read his column regularly. He had no love for Gareth Wheeler IIRC.

I was having trouble figuring out what this match is. 

The announcer says PanAm elimination soccer tournament at Bermuda's national stadium.  The score was Bermuda 3 Canada 0. 

The PanAm Games soccer ran from July 2 to July 14 1979. The CSA has this game in Kingston, Jamaica and the information below says Hamilton, Bermuda

I believe this game was a tournament qualifier.

I see that game vs Spain and the lineup we had and I think it is criminal we didn't supply them with Herdman type resources.  We could have done so much better.

I remember the day Herdman was hired and there was so much blowback and I posted he's going to bring resources to the team that we've never seen and every little bit will help.

Maybe if those guys could have had some they would have made a WC as well.
