Looking at the squad for French Guiana we shouldn't take them lightly. A # of players are in Ligue 1 and 2, and seem to actually have a decent amount of appearances.

At least most of the players on their team were actually born in the country unlike some of the other Caribbean countries.

I am hoping Canada beat Honduras & French Guiana and draw with Costa Rica

I'm hoping we finish second so I can go to the League One All Star game.

I'm a bad man.

Campbell and Ruiz are still going to terrorize our backline.

This would be the concern I have - to the point that I'd be worried that either Aird & De Jong could see two yellows in a match from fouling players they will have trouble defending. And our lack of a back-up for Aird at right back (a position I don't think he should be playing, ideally he's be further up the field) is already my biggest squad concern.

Given the state of our back line be should be concerned, especially since Honduras' attack isn't much worse. But both Honduras and Costa Rica are pretty weak defensively, as Costa Rica didn't bring most of their starting defenders. If we are gonna beat them we will need at least a couple goals.

AFAIK, the only decent defender not called by CR is Waston. The rest are in that 23 man roster.

It would actually be good for us to finish second. First place gets the winner of USA/Panama in the next round, second place probably gets Jamaica.

I think you meant the loser of USA/Panama.

I shouldn't have used the term defenders, but Navas and Borges are as important as any CB to CR's ability to keep the ball out of the net and they aren't on the roster.

Honduras and FG bringing their A team. Costa Rica missing 4 regular starters (Navas, Waston, Bolanos, Borges).

Was hoping that both Whitecap players would be called if only in order to create some more room on the roster for Canadians to get into the lineup.

Waston leaving wouldn't get Canadians any minutes. Bolanos leaving might have meant Davies getting more time, but that's it really.
