On the phone with TicketMaster I found out the following:

- Sections 121-124, 107-108 were also sold out.

well, if what dgroan says is correct, it looks like the bottom bowl is getting pretty close to being filled when tickets have just gone on sale to the general public yesterday. I think that is pretty good. I guess we can expect with over a month to go that perhaps the stadium will be filled. It also seems that we have pretty close to 100% strong Canadian support in the corners and the ends. If the middle is even 60/40 in our favour, that should be a pretty good show for the national team. If the upper deck is more like 50/50, it doesn't really matter that much as the noise the players will hear will be predominantly from the lower bowl which will be Canadian.

That's how I'd do it. With nearly three hours you should be fine. I recently did the same thing — except I went airport to friend's condo (near downtown) then TTC to Skydome and did it in about an hour.

I went down the 401 as opposed to the Gardiner Expressway, but traffic was moving pretty well for 5 p.m.

Best? Yes. But there are two other options:

1. Airport Express runs to the downtown hotels in 30 minutes (which could be an hour in afternoon traffic). Then you'd have to board a streetcar for another 20-30 minute run back towards BMO Field. Should get you in with time to spare, but at $21 it's not my first choice. http://www.torontoairportexpress.com/ Frequency: every 20 minutes

2. Toronto Transit. Take the bus (192) to the subway, step off at Bathurst, grab a 12-minute streetcar to the stadium. Not at all. The tickets listed in this seating chart account for roughly half of all seats in section 104. Without a doubt, a lot of Vs purchased tickets in this section without posting numbers.

Ticketmaster for some bizarre reason had frozen them, so the people at the outlet assumed they were sold.

I have just been notified that they have been released to the Voyageurs. So we suddenly have tickets for sale in 101, 102 and 103.

I've been wracking my brain to think of any combination that would allow me to get to this one without having to blow a large chunk of cash on the round trip fair from S'toon to TO.
