The list is great. Please include if you can under playing in the United States Said Ali (Hamilton) and Damien Pottinger (Scarborough) from the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the Pro Soccer League (USL Div. II). Ali is leading the PSL in goals if I'm not mistaken.

Daniel Fernandes saw some first team action yesterday as PAOK played Lyon in an away friendly with Lyon winning 1-0. Fernandes came on in the 64th minute, and according to game reports made one difficult save in the 86th minute off a header from in front of the net. Fernandes was not the keeper that allowed Lyon's lone goal, which came in the 10th minute.

Fernandes was the third keeper to play in the match for PAOK, with each keeper playing roughly 30 minutes each.

Thanks, very interesting. This is the kind of report you should post in the Sticky canucks abroad in action threads up each week, just saying so folks don't miss it on this thread, more about where folks are playing in general and not about match details.

Amir Haroon of Calgary has moved up to the A1-Jugend team with Energie Cottbus for this coming season. That's the top youth team (he was a level below that last season). Congrats to him. Can't have enough strikers playing overseas.

Again, this was the Jamaican U-20 team at the World Youth Cup in Argentina in 2001, after being cut at the last minute from the Canadian U-20's. Under the new rules, he is still eligible to play for Canada. Apparently, he has just hired an English agent to try to get him onto an English club from his current Belgium club, mainly because he is desperate to get onto Yallop's radar, and that appears to be the best way to do it.
