There are three Canadian citizens living and playing in Chile for 2nd division Santiago Morning. They are all 87's born. Names are: Christian Schimdt, Adam Loga, & Tosaint Ricketts. There is also another 87 playing for the psg youth system, his name is Stephon Alingue but I am not sure if he acquired canadian citizenship when he lived in Canada.

Just wanna help...

Carlo Schiavoni is at Aquila (Italy)

Rocco is now at Teramo (Italy D4)

Dimy Garbe isn't there anymore. I think he is playing somewhere in Montreal...Probably the Haitien league (Ligue Auchem)

Peters Thierry Eustache is at Reims (France)

Serge Epoh is at Ales (France)

Sita-Tati is on trial...Not true...at the moment, he is sitting at home scheduled to leave on Wednesday...March 17.

If I remeber any others, I'll pass it on.

Keep up the gr8 work!!!

I looked at the PSG site and I don't see Alingue listed as a player on the CFA, U-18 or U-16 sides. I wonder if he is there. I also wonder if he is the player in France that Hart mentioned prior to the U-17 WC qualifiers had not committed to Canada (he also mentioed a dutch player, who we all assume is the younger de Guzman).

Rudy Doliscat played for Canada in the early 90s and is now technical director of the Quebec Soccer Fed. Welcome aboard, an honour for us.

Right, I've made the changes once again, removing Dimy and adding Eustache & Epoh. If I recall correctly both players have played for Canada's youth teams recently, so I am assuming that both players are on the youth squads of their respective French clubs. Nice to see more Canucks in France again, and hopefully Andrew Hainault will soon join them (I had heard he had impressed at Rennes a little while ago.)

PS - I had a chance to see you play live against Germany, about 10 years ago now, in Toronto just prior to the World Cup. Unfortunately I never got a chance to see that goal you scored against Morrocco. Thanks for the info and welcome to the boards.

Stephon alingue was at psg but now is at Torcy Football Club U16 but has told he will be doing trials in england & germany around may.

Troy Gardezy is back in vancouver not in holland anymore. Asmir Begovic (87) is training with the first team in Portsmouth, incredible!

Gian-luca, I made some more corrections to your list, mainly under Italy but also one under Croatia ("Thompson" to "Thomson"). I figured it would just be easier for you if I edited the list myself. I hope you don't mind. I'll tell you exactly what I changed if you want to know.

Since we just found out about Schiavone I will mention this. The club is actually L'Aquila (a city I'm familiar with because it's the capital of the province that my mother is from). Also, Schiavone is on their "Juniores" team (the same level as Julian Uccello), confirmed by their Web site. However, "Juniores" is a name used by Milan but not all clubs; "Berretti" is more common. I added both names to both players for greater clarity.

I was sent a few pictures of Julian by a Canadian who was in Milan.... I will try to post them soon. The pictures are a little too big so I have to try to make them smaller.

He sent them to me as well but I haven't had a chance to post them yet. However, I have already made them smaller so don't worry about that, Sigma, we might as well use my copies. In fact, I should be able to post them a little later tonight.

Regarding Kevin De Serpa - Penafiel (2nd Div) and Adam Leggett - Penafiel (2nd Div.

Does anyone know if they are starters on this team? Second, does anyone know how many teams get promoted each year in Portugal? The team, Penafiel, is tied for 3rd in the Portuguese second division. Only 2 points out of second place. Therefore, they might be promoted next year to play against the likes of Porto, Benfica, Sporting, etc. That would be great for De Serpa and Leggett. Of course, that is if they play on a regular basis and stick around.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe he either still is or was.The last we heard Jarrek received an email from Andrea Bellisimo himself that said he was with Inter. I haven't heard anything to the contrary just yet, and with youth players it's difficult to know how much to trust club websites.

I have been posting on them on the Canucks in Action threads. Leggat is nowhere to be seen. AS for Kevin, as he is called there, his international transfer took a while to come through and he got his first play with Penafiel in Feb, subbing on in a match. He then started one game. He has been on the bench for one more, and hasn't dressed for the rest (about 5 matches). I think they changed coaches recently and this could affect his chances.

Re promotion, I think three go up, so they are definitely in the race for promotion.

My info on them comes from www.abola.pt, if you go to the site and find the Liga de Honra (name for 2nd Div there) page you can get game stats for every match.

Davide Xausa left Falkirk a few weeks ago. I heard he had signed for Vancouver Whitecaps. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Definitely true, he signed for Whitecaps, the announcement came to us maybe a month ago. Their season starts in about a month and they are in pre-season right now.

Any possible reference to what sort of salary he had at Falkirk?

And an aside, you guys sure got a hard shake last season, most of us are convinced Falkirk should have been in SPL this year. That must have hurt.

Actually, no, it has not been officially announced by the Whitecaps. Same with Martin Nash.

Most of our players are on about £25,000 a year plus bonuses. It should be remembered that Xausa had a contract for the season with Livingston who probably paid him 7 or 8 times this. This was paid up in August...so I doubt he would have taken a pro rata wage of 25,000 a year if he hadn't already got a nice pay off from Livingston..

I keep checking the Vancouver Whitecaps website and there is no mention of him having signed yet. He said he left us to join them. He didn't do a great job for us to be honest considering how highly he was though of at Inverness and Livingston..

Our new stadium's being built so hopefully we will get promotion eventually. Although the SPL isn't as attractive a place as it has been in the past.
