  • In this thread post match updates on all Canadians for July 7th to 13th
  • If you find updates posted in some other thread then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster.
  • If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here.
  • Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread

He was pretty good, solid, if unspectacular.  Did his job on the left.  Most of TFC's good chances came from Marshall - Rutty down St. Louis' right side.

Good tk know, thanks. He looked to be top five in ratings on the night no matter the source.

What happened on the St. Louis winner?  I briefly saw the highlights but noted that a TFC guy near the edge of the box got dispossessed too easily of a pass coming to him and then the goal happened after the next pass?

Yeah, pretty much.  Can't remember who got dispossessed (JMR?), but it was a soft play, then further soft play by the CBs who let Jackson turn and get a shot off in the box.  Very disappointing because in all honesty, it was one of TFC's better games in a while.  Young guys played well for the most part.

Norman got 90' and a yellow in a 2-1 loss.  Not awful going home next week for the second leg.

Bassong remained on the bench in a 1-O win.

Noticed that Enes Sali entered the game for Farul in the 70th minute.

He just turned 17 at the end of Feb and already has 39 appearances in Romanian Liga 1 and another 5 cup games. Hope he gets a transfer to a club outside Romania soon. It's the only way we have a chance before he gets cap tied. Could be the attacking mid we are missing?
