york is showing nothing after all these quality additions...baldisimo de rosario dos santos ricci on the bench...nash in the last year of his contract...if he cant show anything better in the first half of the season maybe they let him go and go with smith as interim for the rest of the season

Coming into the season the CB situation was under scrutiny. Stands to reason. 

Much better break from York. Good defending from Valour.

problem might be there's still a cap for the coaching staff etc, but maybe you go with his assistant?

De Brienne is the clear weak link out there. He'll have to grow into the role.

Might not have the star quality of other teams in the league but really promising the grit, determination and fitness seems to be there from Valour. Mentality is right. They smell blood right now and York can't regain any composure.

if de brienne and haynes are the lb starters of valour this year they will have big problems on that side

Just saw this video this morning as brennan just mentioned it.. the most impressive part is Drew Beckie and the CPL being a part of it.

another season and york still looks bad with tons of players going in and out and seemingly bad coaching...good start for valour but the question for them is as usual if they can do enough over a season

Big let-off for Valour once Ohin and Campbell came off. They'll need to keep that trio healthy and get the rest of the bunch up to speed to have success this year.

The quality of the passing and decision making in front of goal in this game just wasn't where it needs to be.

There was really only one team that wanted it today. Very early days and they will surely improve but worrying for York. Casual defending, players not willing to move to receive the ball and some of the worst performances coming from the bigger name signings. 

York seem cursed... on the upside there is a potential consolation coming..

He needs to refamiliarize himself with the role. He actually started out as a fullback/wing back before getting moved further up the pitch. Option 'C' is Mzoughi at left back.
