Whitecaps rested players on the weekend in anticipation of this game. They're taking this seriously, as they know it's their best shot at silverware in quite a while.

I like Vancouver but, as a TFC fan, it would be fun to see a TFC-York final.

York haven't scored a goal in the league since May 6.

They do have a few Voyageurs Cup goals in that same time frame.

I think Vancouver wins this easily

I suspect you're right.  I also think it would take a solid upset for TFC to beat Montreal in the other leg.  But, hey, that's why they play the games.

I think they'll miss Wright with the U20 team, but I give York a chance, they do have some game changing type players. I think if Dero and Ferrari have good games, York should make it interesting.

Solid from York. The danger is being drawn into playing football and attacking but whitecaps hitting on the break but so far so good. Some real Hollywood passing at times from York players. Zator included! Wilson looks so slow though!

Honestly, I don't know why people hate on Reed, he's alright.  Would be OK with him doing some of the league broadcasts.  Be a change of flavour from Wheeler and Jenkins.

Anxious had a pretty sweet free kick a bit ago. Almost snuck it in the near post after wrapping it around the wall. Would have been a beauty.

He's not bad in this game. I'm just remembering watching the women at the Olympics while Reed and Rustad kept trying to one-up the other to see who could suck the most joy out of the game.

Well done York. Not enough threat on goal in the end but some really nice play at times. York badly need a beter option than Wilson at the back. The lack of pace was a huge problem today.
