MLS Salaries unveiled

Daigo, Reo-Coker, and Will Johnson all make about the same money. I know which two I would pick out of the three.

Does Tim Cahill really make ten times what Nesta makes?

I suspect a lot of teams find ways around the salary cap. I find Nesta's salary suspect and we always joke that he has a cushy job in the cheese factory but he is far from the only one in that category.

I see that Matt Stinson is still on the payroll list, but with no team affiliation. Anyone know what his status is then?

looks like he's on some sort of guaranteed contract, despite being waived from TFC. the league pays for all non DP salaries

^ CLB Finlay Ethan F $ 47,300.00 $ 62,300.00

I guess you could also add Kofi Opare to the list since he's eligible for Canada, but he's actually played for the US already...

Yeah I heard that before but I haven't seen any evidence to back it up. When did Opare play for a USA national team?

He was at a US camp in Trinidad and Tobago with their U-20 team. Opare's eligibility issues are not because he was with the US, because it wasn't during the U20 CONCACAF Championship

Teibert @ $70-75k and Alderson @ $100-115k ???

The lower paid player is starting. Hmmm. Nice to see for Bryce now about some playing time for him and a raise for Russell.

Other Canucks gainfully employed and getting trained: Adekugbe @ $50-55k, Carducci @ $36k, Clarke @ $60k

I think the rest want to get Alderson's agent  :)

They couldn't get that deal since, they have to sign min-deals to be off budget.
