Would soemone who can read Polish, please check the Polish second division for reference to Rob Sing. Apparently he is on trial with, or recently signed with the top or 2nd place team in the second division. He previously played for Yverdon is Switzerland.

From the first page:

The following is a list of footballers eligible to represent Canada who play for the first team or reserves of professional clubs abroad. Youth players have been excluded. Please feel free to continue posting any info about trialists, youth team players, or semi-professionals. If you believe an excluded player belongs on the list, please post a link to a club web page, or other reputable source that provides a current player profile.

I'm curious to know if you intend to add Murphy Wiredu and Anthony Bahadur to the MOACA list now that they are signed with Sengkang Punggol of the Singapore S-League

It's a fully professional league so I think its justified to add these young men to the list but you're the keeper of this list so I'll leave that decision to you.

No problem. Can you post a link to their club page?

this is the club's website but it doesn't look like updating the site is a huge priority

http://www.spfc.com.sg/

here is a link to the club's page on the league website. i get the sense that this page is more likely to be updated and where we'll see Murphy and Anthony's names added to the roster eventually:

Guest Jeffery S.

I believe I posted on both of these more than a month ago, so we can update when you get a chance.

Fernando Aguiar is at Gondomar in 2nd tier Portugal's Liga Vitalis.

Not from their website but updated:

Tyler Hemming plays for Tampere United in Finland. Their season is done but I have seen nothing about him not being back next season.

As for Justin Isidro, he's at Caldas Sport Clube, 3rd Division Serie D, (fourth tier), link to his pic on site:

Keeper Karl Martens (1989) could be with AFC Tubize (Juliper League - Belgium) according to his homepage.

I didn't see anything about him on the Tubize website.

I can't find anything on these guys at their team's websites. Will stay tuned.

Karl is currently at AFC Tubize, signed. He is on the pro team, but gets lots of playing time with the U21's, possibly the reserves. However, he practices with the pro team, not the U21's. He's dressed for one game for the pro team, but didn't see any action.

Chris Musto decided to return to Canada as far as I'm aware.

Mods, can we sticky this and let the other float away. Thanks.

Outstanding issues:

Dave Anthony Simpson - where are you man?

Octavio - has he signed in Holland?

Rob Sing - is he still in Switzerland?

Paris Nakajima Farran - is he actually eligible for Canada?

Junior - is he in Germany or England?

David Masciantonio - what's the verdict?

Another new Canadian at Geylang United :

excellent find...now I have to find out who the Canadian is that signed with Geylang. Rafael Carbajal is back in Singapore this week but I had not heard if he arranged to get another player signed.

If I hear something, I'll report back.

Thanks to a poster at bigsoccer.com, another Canuck in Hungary:

Patrick Wilson Signs Professional Contract in Hungary

Dec 10, 2008

Former Cornerstone University Men’s Soccer standout Patrick Wilson Jr (Missaugua, ON/Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School) has recently signed a professional contract with FC Dunaujvaros of the NB II (2nd Division) in Hungary.

Patrick traveled to Europe this past summer with Bret Hall (Bridge to the Pros) and Steve Herdsman (former MLS player and current CU Asst Coach) and signed with a 3rd Division team in Belgium. Wilson worked hard and then was offered a professional contract with FC Dunaujvaros in the Hungarian 2nd Division. The team is located in Dunaujvaros, Hungary which located in Central Hungary along the Danube river.

From 2005-2007, Patrick led the Golden Eagles from a center back position and was honored with Newcomer of the Year, 3-time All Conference, NAIA All Region and All American-HM accolades. The team also won a 2006 WHAC Championship under Wilson’s leadership.

There's also a kid from Erin Mills named "Andre Jordan McMorris." I can't find a page for the new kid Ed posted. I'm embarrassed to say that I spent more than a year in Budapest and all I can say is "Cheers" "Hello/Goodbye" "Chicken" and "Mushroom Soup." In some ways that's all you need, I suppose. FWIW, this used to be a good club. They have a 15,000 seater and have played in the Champions League and UEFA Cup in somewhat recent times. Looks like they're on the verge of relegation though. It's quite hard to get out of NBII, I'd hate to know what's below that...
