That rule change is surely going to end up in a GK or attacking player getting injured. A player miles offside on a breakaway doesn't seem to be a decision that potentially needs a VAR review.

I think that just means they got their FIFA International certification. Before that they were National referees, who can't referee "international" teams like American MLS teams.  There are certain American MLS refs who can't referee in Canada or Canadian MLS teams in the U.S. At least that's how it was when I was refereeing. There are levels you must pass to move up, and each level allows higher-profile games.

nimick fouls badibanga and it should be a yellow but the ref doesnt even give a foul...ten seconds later hojabrpour makes the same foul and its called and he gets a yellow...lol...then on the freekick hfx scores but its called offside
