Interesting that three of the matches will be Yank-only and Mexican-only. Doesn't look very good when there are only Mexican clubs left by the semi-finals.

Man, bookmakers have no clue about the MLS. On sportsinteraction.com you have RSL winner for 2.87 and the Crew for 2.25

Anyone who followed the offseason knows Columbus lost like 60% of their starting lineup, plus Hesmer and Gruenebaum are injured. Meanwhile, RSL lost only 3 players, 2 of which are insignificant, and the third is Findley. And they brought in Arturo Alvarez, so the loss of Findley means nothing. The home advantage will be near 0 because the weather is sh*t, so very very few people wil be attending (hope I'm wrong on this one though!).

Will Johnson went 90 as RSL took the home leg 2-0 against Deportivo Saprissa. Second leg is April 5th in San Jose.

Another good performance from Real Salt Lake and Will Johnson in particular as they faced adversity in Costa Rica, going down 1-0 in front of an insane home crowd. They largely took the crowd out of it though as they came back to draw 1-1 mid 2nd half. They were ecstatic to hold on despite giving up a late goal. A 2-1 loss on the night but 3-2 aggregate puts them into the next round.

The final will be RSL and Mexico's FC Monterrey. Los Rayados advanced 3-2 over Cruz Azul. 2 of the final 4 teams were the 2 that advanced out of TFC's group.

That was an unbelievable game last night. The RSL team just seems to be able to withstand anything thrown at them. Johnson was very good last night and is getting incredible experience that he can use in CONCACAF qualifying.

^I only watched a little of this match but I have become more and more impressed with what Johnson brings to any team he plays for. I certainly can see why he's a "go to" guy for Hart.
