Rupert
Marcus Haber is with Rotherham United. He was meant to play for their reserve team yesterday, but he didn't get off the bench. The coach likes what he's seen in training, though.

AEDIFICAMUS
TAYLOR LORD - Has just returned to A S MONACO in France for Pre Season Training Camp. This past summer, he was a guest player with TFC RESERVE SQUAD where he flew to Chicago with them and played the whole second half of the game. Taylor has been going through some extensive training the last 2 months in Canada and is physically fit as he heads into preseason training with A S MONACO. Will keep you up to date as the season goes on.

Gaucho
UCSB recently updated its roster with this year's class. Here is Reid Fraser's bio: http://ucsbgauchos.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/fraser_reid00.html We have a ton of new players this year, but Reid ended up with a pretty good number (4) instead of something in the 20's, so maybe this means something. Plus, that was Andy Iro's number last year Go Gauchos!!!
Back to Basics
I think that this team will have alot of unknown players and unattached kids. And a couple of 91's will have to be added to this team i think because they are at the age for the 2011 u20 championship unless they want to bring a team that has no international experience and the only 91's i know "attached" to a club Goalies: Marcel Debelis, Roberto Stillo Midfield: Damien Murrette Thats just to my knowledge does anyone have the possible 91's beyond the kids posted on the Canadasoccer site

VPjr
I have been notified that the first U20 camp details are now available. The camp will take place in late November in Switzerland. I don't have exact dates yet but I do know that Coach Fonseca has been busy handing out invites to players the last couple of days. I imagine a CSA Press Release will be posted on their website in the next few days.

VPjr
^ some matches will be scheduled. Maybe against Swiss club sides or maybe a Swiss national team...not sure of exact details but matches will certainly be played.
Back to Basics
As for games they should be playing the Swiss u-20 side and an older club team. This is the first of a array of camps there will be another in December from what I'm told. Loyola, your welcome.
loyola
I was expecting the camp in December, usually after X-Mas. One player I would like to see invited to those camps is Teal Bunbury (Alex's son who was part of some U-16 and U-17 games in the past). He is a forward for the University of Akron, ranked #2 in the NCAA, and he is the second leading scorer for his team. Impressive stuff for a freshman. I guess the November camp will be impossible as his team might still be alive in the NCAA tourney but the December camp would be perfect.

Keegan
Im really really liking the way this team is shaping up. Look to have good coaching, good prep and a GREAT young team. Gage, Saiko, Hoilett, Edwini-Bonsu, Suprenant, Gala, ATTAKORA, Street, Haber, Owusu-Ansah, Lacoste-Lebuis, Gaudet, Nakajima-Farran, Bonifacio..... Tons of depth I am psyched. Especially since you have some guys playing at a high level or 1st team ball, something 2007 lacked. Really pumped to see Gage and Saiko. We don't even need to depend on Hoilett. I agree with you that this is, as of right now, one of the most experienced squads with a large number of them playing at a high level. Edwini-Bonsu has been very good in competitions in europe with the whitecaps as a striker, and if Hoilett is on board then that's a deadly duo up front. Lacoste-labuis is who I'm really interested in seeing, he seemed to be a force in the u-17 tournament and I'm wondering where he is right now with respect to development. Keegan
Lacoste-Lebuis is playing for Strasbourg reserves who like Germany actually play in the 3rd division I believe so thats good. I forgot about Teal Bunbury and Im sure there will be other college/university players who pop up or TFC academy players who might push for a spot. Impressive for Bunbury to be playing so well at university thats good to hear
Back to Basics
Stillo has been invited to the camp! So we can finally cap this kid. He must be doing something big to be training with Genoa's first team on a regular basis it seems. Hoillet will not be attending.
