Forget trying to predict the result, that is a foregone conclusion.

But answer me these questions:

1. Will Valour concede in the first 10 minutes?

2. Will a Valour player miss a scoring chance in a comical fashion?

3. Will the home team score a goal?

Three yeses, it turns out.

Why are Valour games, or any CPL games for that matter, played in the summer afternoon when it will likely be super hot? I went to a Vancouver FC afternoon match a while ago and it was really uncomfortable sitting in the blazing sun.

Tonight's poor crowd had mostly to do with the weather and Valour's goal scoring drought, but the afternoon games are convenient for families with younger kids, which have been making up a good chunk of the crowds lately. Definitely trade-offs.

You know what they say... today's kids are tomorrow's season ticket holders who will bring their own kids which can continue the cycle.

The oddsmakers currently aren't favoring Cavalry as much as they should. Money there for the taking for the smart bettor.

Wondering what Cavalry at the half, Valour at full time was paying.  That's always a gooder.
