Gutierrez gets a lot of love around Valourdom, and quite rightly, but I can't imagine where this team would be without Williams and Baquero.  It would be ugly.

Smashing goal by Cela.  He came a long way to claim that header and placed it smartly, with authority.  

Brutal 1st goal by Akio.  The vid on that play could become part of any academy's Defenders text book.  Chapter 3, The dangers of Ball Watching.

It's what, Haynes 2nd match back?  It HAS TO get better.  I'll leave it at that.

If not the worst crowd ever damned close.  Came to life in the 2nd but pretty damn thin.  

Have to finish positive.  We didn't get rained on!

Based upon recent home performances it was a better crowd than they deserved.  That said, I am now sorry I skipped the game.

Next week is another Friday evening. My preferred start time. Hopefully they didn't blow their whole goal-scoring budget for July and August yesterday.
