red card
Olivia Smith is leaving Penn State after 1 year. She scored 1 goal and had 1 assist. Her goal rate with Canada's youth teams is almost a goal/match. She was named Canada Youth Player of the Year 2019 and made her senior debut also in 2019. She says she prefers playing as a false 9. Receiving the ball in the middle to create opportunities. She has signed a deal with as yet undisclosed top Euro club. jhoops__, lamptern and Kent

red card
I would have said back in 2019, Smith would be on the 2023 World Cup squad. But not in 2022 given she looked sluggish and had a disappointing u20 World Cup. But she did impose herself at the Concacaf u20 qualifiers this year. rkomar
She has a cannon for a leg. I think she can beat even WNT keepers with her power. Maybe her chances will be way down, but I feel good about her getting one or two given a chance to play.
Olympique_de_Marseille
I find her football I.Q. to be very high, I rate her. Just in terms of body type, she doesn't look like the type of player who would excel after running for 80+ minutes but she has great power and undeniable skill on the ball. I would use her as a supersub in the first two matches and then see what happens. Edited July 10, 2023 by Olympique_de_Marseille rkomar
shorty
In terms of body type and ability to go for 90 minutes, Desiree Scott and Sam Pierre would like a word with you… Cavallini would have wanted a word too, but luckily he wasn’t paying attention 😂 Olympique_de_Marseille
